Fayette Youth Behavioral Health Alliance

The Fayette Youth Behavioral Health Alliance is a collaborative initiative aimed at identifying strengths, gaps, and opportunities related to behavioral health and the promotion of the well-being of youth ages 10–19 in Fayette County, Georgia. The initiative brings together individuals and organizations across sectors to contribute insights, data, resources and outreach toward, initially, a shared community needs assessment report and action plan. The Alliance will chart a longer term purpose after this initial 8 month effort.

Behavioral health encompasses mental health, while also considering the impact of behaviors and habits on overall health, how behaviors like diet, exercise, and substance use, along with social interactions and coping strategies, affect physical and mental health.
